    Can't A165 be used to cause a DoS? With A179, a crash sounds like it's the good case, otherwise, it sounds like the chip is wedged to me. Getting the wrong cache line is a bit more frightening, that seems like a more fundamental issue.


    Chip erratas are nothing new. There are usually some somewhat shocking issues. These seem kind of large for intel, they really must have rushed this one through.
